Privacy Policy
Last updated: 28 August 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Scroll Stronger («the App», «we») handles information when you use our mobile application for Android and iOS.
By using the App, you accept the practices described in this document. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Data controller
Controller: Scroll Stronger

Contact email:

2. Summary
Scroll Stronger is designed to minimise the collection of personal data:
- Exercise detection with the camera is processed on your device. We do not send camera video or images to our servers.
- Most information (time balance, exercise history, blocked apps, preferences) is stored locally on your phone.
- If you take out a subscription, payment is handled by Google Play or the Apple App Store, and we use RevenueCat to verify your subscription status.
- We use anonymous product analytics and error reporting (PostHog and Sentry, hosted in the European Union) solely to fix bugs and improve the App. They are not used for advertising. You can turn them off in the App settings.
- We do not sell your personal data.
3. Data we handle
3.1. Data stored on your device
The App stores locally (for example, in the app's internal storage):
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| «Time bank» balance and usage | Core App functionality |
| Repetitions and daily activity per exercise | Local history and statistics |
| Difficulty level and exercise configuration | Personalisation |
| List of apps you have chosen to block | App-blocking feature |
| Onboarding state and preferences (language, etc.) | User experience |
| Step-counter data (when you enable the «Steps» exercise) | Calculating time rewards |
This data is not synced to a cloud account in the current version of the App, except as described in the subscriptions section.
3.2. Data processed in real time (not stored by us)
- Camera: during an exercise session, the App analyses the image on the device to detect your posture and count repetitions. That processing is local; we do not upload recordings or photos to our own servers.
- Foreground app (Android): if you enable the accessibility service for app blocking, the App detects which application is open in order to show the block screen. This information is used on the device for the blocking feature; we do not collect it on our own servers.
3.3. Subscription-related data
If you subscribe to a paid plan:
- Google Play Billing (Android) or the App Store (iOS) process the payment and may collect billing data under their own policies.
- We use RevenueCat, Inc. to manage the subscription status (for example, whether it is active, in a trial period, or expired). RevenueCat may receive an anonymous App user identifier, purchase information, and technical device data.
See RevenueCat's privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy
3.4. Usage analytics and error reporting
To understand how the App is used, detect failures, and improve the experience, we handle usage and diagnostic data anonymously through two providers that act as data processors on our behalf:
- PostHog (product analytics): funnel usage events —for example, onboarding steps, first exercise completed, opening a restricted app, viewing the paywall, and starting or completing a subscription—, together with technical device data (model, operating system, App version, language, and time zone). An approximate location (country or region) is derived from the IP address; we do not use GPS or precise location.
- Sentry (stability): crash and error reports, including the technical crash log and device data (model, operating system, and App version).
This data is associated with an anonymous identifier (the same one assigned by RevenueCat, which does not contain your name or email) together with your subscription status (trial, paid, or free), so we can analyse usage by segment. We do not collect camera video or images, and we do not record the screen.
Both providers are configured on servers in the European Union. We use this data only to fix bugs and improve the App: it is not used for advertising or marketing, and it is not sold or shared with third parties for those purposes.
You can object to this processing by turning analytics off in the App settings, without affecting the rest of the App's features.
3.5. Data we do not actively collect
In the current version of the App we do not ask for:
- Name, email address, or account registration (other than the anonymous identifier that RevenueCat assigns for subscriptions).
- GPS location.
- Contacts, SMS, calendar, or other personal content on the phone.
- Advertising or cross-app tracking for advertising purposes: we do not integrate advertising SDKs and we do not share data with ad networks or data brokers.
4. Device permissions
The App may request the following permissions. They are used only for the features described:
| Permission | Use |
|---|---|
| Camera | Posture detection and repetition counting during exercises |
| Physical activity recognition / Motion & Fitness | Step counter for the «Steps» exercise |
| Accessibility service (Android) | Detect when you open a blocked app and show the interception screen |
| Display over other apps / Overlay (Android) | Block screen over restricted apps |
| Foreground service (Android) | Keep the blocking and usage-metering feature running |
| Notifications | Alerts related to how the App works (if enabled) |
| Screen Time (iOS) | Let you choose which apps to restrict (via Apple's APIs) |
You can revoke permissions in your system settings. Some features will stop being available if you disable them.
5. Legal basis (users in the European Economic Area)
| Processing | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| App functionality and local data | Performance of the contract / legitimate interest in providing the service |
| Subscriptions and billing | Performance of the contract |
| Usage analytics and error reporting (anonymous) | Legitimate interest in fixing bugs and improving the App. You can object at any time in the App settings. |
| Compliance with legal obligations | Legal obligation |
6. Retention
- Local data remains on your device until you uninstall the App, clear the app's data in your system settings, or reset the configuration within the App (where available).
- RevenueCat and the app stores retain subscription data under their own policies and legal retention periods.
7. Providers that process data on our behalf
We do not share your data with third parties for their own purposes, we do not sell it, and we do not hand it over to advertising networks. Everything processed is for the operation and improvement of the App itself, and nothing more.
To provide the service we rely on a few providers that act as data processors: they process data only on our instructions, they do not own that data, and they do not reuse it for their own purposes.
- Google / Apple — process the payment and distribute the App.
- RevenueCat — manages the subscription status (see section 3.3).
- PostHog — anonymous usage analytics (servers in the European Union; see section 3.4).
- Sentry — error and stability analytics (servers in the European Union; see section 3.4).
8. International transfers
RevenueCat and the app stores may process data outside the European Economic Area. In those cases, those providers apply their own contractual and compliance safeguards (for example, standard contractual clauses).
PostHog and Sentry are configured on servers in the European Union, so analytics and error reporting do not, in themselves, involve an international data transfer.
9. Your rights
If you reside in the EEA, the UK, or other jurisdictions with applicable data-protection laws, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Rectify inaccurate data.
- Erase your data (to the extent we hold it).
- Object to certain processing.
- Restrict processing.
- Data portability (where applicable).
- Lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority in your country (in Spain: AEPD).
To exercise your rights, write to us at wildpegasusstudios@gmail.com. Note that most data is only on your device; to delete it, the most effective way is usually to clear the App's data or uninstall it. See also our Delete your data page.
10. Minors
Scroll Stronger is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with data, contact us to request its deletion.
11. Security
We apply reasonable measures to protect information. No system is 100% secure; use of the App is at your own risk, especially regarding the security of your device.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will publish the revised version on this page and indicate the «Last updated» date. Continued use of the App after the changes implies acceptance of the updated policy.
